Chamber Event Coordinator Holly Haakenson Opens New Event Planning Company

Holly Haakenson, exclusive event planner for the Glendale Chamber, recently began her own event consulting agency. Holly Haakenson Events & Design, in collaboration with Flowers with Flair, is a one-stop shop for brides and clients of all needs. Holly strives to enhance the overall experience for those planning their big event. She operates out of Flowers with Flair at 706 Front Street in Louisville, but takes clients from all over the Denver Metro area. The shop has a relaxed, small-town atmosphere with cozy seating and a comfortable, carefree consulting. And of course, the sensational aroma of the fresh-cut flowers makes for a perfect place to create your ideas.

Day-of, six-month, and year-out packages for brides, grooms, funerals, reunions, graduations, anniversaries, corporate team building, baby showers, birthdays, grand openings, networking functions, political fundraisers, black-tie galas, bachelor and bachelorette packages and other happenings that may need the assistance of an event specialist.

As a graduate of Johnson & Wales, Holly has developed a keen eye for event design and production. She has taken on projects large and small, from the highly-publicized Elevate Colorado Governor’s Forum to intimate chamber networking events. Each occasion is thoughtfully planned using Holly’s extensive knowledge of the hospitality industry and sense of style and combining those with the needs and vision of the client.

Holly says she is thrilled to embark on this endeavor and can’t wait to meet new clients.

“I have had this dream since I was a rookie in the business 13 years ago, and now this dream is my reality and my adventure,” Holly said.
