The Greater Glendale Chamber of Commerce hosted the annual Chamber Appreciation Luncheon on January 29, 2020, at Infinity Park Events Center in Glendale. Current Chamber members and City officials combined to form a packed house to celebrate 2019 successes and forecast 2020.
The luncheon was sponsored by AAA Colorado, The City of Glendale, Shotgun Willie’s, Sewald Hanfling Public Affairs, Angela Fox (RE/MAX Urban Properties), SleepNation, Xcel Energy, Alphagraphics, Arcanum, Butler Rents, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Bloody Mary Co., and Iron Woman.
The luncheon’s Master of Ceremonies was Chamber member Tiffanie Trenck. The keynote speaker was Glendale’s Mayor and Chamber Board Member Mike Dunafon, w
ho talked about the importance of a business community.
The awards portion of the luncheon was determined by the Board of Directors under careful consideration. Bloody Mary Co. took home the hardware for Product of the Year, Glendale Target won the award for Business of the Year, Jultak Flowers won for Small Business of the Year, The UPS Store won for Mid-Size Business, Morning Story was n
amed New Business of the Year and Matt Poffel from Old Chicago won the coveted Ambassador of the Year award.
“The Chamber is proud of all of this year’s recipients,” said Chamber COO Jeff Allen. “We look forward to an outstanding 2020 as we continue to grow the Chamber and add benefit to its members.”
