Community Banks of Colorado is a local bank with branches throughout the Denver metro area, Aurora, and throughout the states of Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, and Texas. They focus on a common sense approach while building relationships with their clients.
Ironically, common sense has never been all that common. If it were, banks would only sell you what you need. Everything would be fair, without all of the fine print. And, when your banker looked at you, they wouldn’t just see a number, they’d see a dad, or a mom, or a graduate, or a business owner. That’s why Community Banks of Colorado understands the complexities of people’s lives and offer simple solutions.
“We are focused on our small businesse
Community Banks of Colorado offers an array of products and services including: Business & Consumer accounts, Business & Consumer Lending, Treasury Management, Commercial Lending, SBA, Mortgage, Safe Deposit Boxes, Merchant Processing, and Digital Banking.
Part of being focused on the community is belonging to Chambers of Commerce. “A couple of members [of the Chamber] geared us toward checking it [The Chamber] out and we were looking for more things to do in this area,” said Marie Esqueda, Business Banking Officer for Community Banks of Colorado. “The Glendale Chamber was the closest to our Lowry branch and it has a lot of businesses and we wanted to make sure we were involved.”
There are many reasons to consider banking with Community Banks of Colorado, but one in particular is that with along with business and consumer accounts, the bank also offers a special account called “work perks.” If your business banks with Community Banks of Colorado and meets the work perks qualifications, the business owner and their employees get a free consumer account.
In addition, a new client loyalty program rolls out in October. It is going to offer new and existing consumer clients new benefits that include a concierge type banking service, discounted fees, and special rates. The free perks will be announced soon so stay tuned.
One area the bank has been busy with are the PPP loans. “Since Covid has happened, our focus has been on helping our community and our small businesses,” said O’Neill. “We helped with the PPP loans and now we are in the forgiveness process.”
“We are focused on the forgiveness piece now and making sure we get with our clients and process the applications, said Esqueda. “The way we see it, is that SBA has a 90-day timeline to do those so they are wanting to get their forgiveness done in 2021 and we make sure it gets done.”
