Greater Glendale Chamber of Commerce

MacKenzie Pacifico – Chamber Ambassador

Four Mile ParkFour Mile Historic Park gives visitors a unique view back in time to the wild west days along the Cherokee Trail. Located at the crossroads of Denver, Cherry Creek, and Glendale, the park welcomes over 40,000 guests each year.

The 12 acre site, recognized as a Denver Landmark and National Historic Place is finely curated by Executive Director and Glendale Chamber Ambassador, MacKenzie Pacifico. With a Masters in Non-Profit Management from Regis University, Pacifico is right at home at Four Mile Park.

Pacifico points out, The park is an “educational organization …offering year round cultural programs where [visitors] journey into the past…and learn about Colorado history, westward expansion, and the historical significance of this site in our contemporary lives.”

Built in 1859, the Four Mile House Museum is Denver’s oldest standing building. Back in the day it served as a stage stop, tavern, and wayside inn for travelers on the road to Denver City during the height of the Colorado Gold Rush.

Pacifico and her staff work hard to bring the past to life through year-round guided tours and heritage community events. This sense of connecting to the community is why Pacifico is such a valued Chamber Ambassador. She says, “The Chamber staff and members are an extremely welcoming group of people and they truly care about what your business organization brings to the community.”

A fantastic community event is coming up in October. The Pumpkin Harvest Festival comes to Four Mile Park October 4th and 5th. Join in the fall fun as visitors search for the perfect pumpkin and celebrate harvest!
