Where can you find a charming shop with a friendly atmosphere filled with the delicious aroma of fresh baked bundt cakes? Why at 1685 South Colorado Boulevard, of course! Nothing Bundt Cakes opened it’s doors last year and has been serving delicious treats ever since. Bundt cake is inspired by a traditional European cake and is baked in a fluted tube pan which gives it the distinctive ring shape.

Nothing Bundt Cakes offers four different sizes of cakes and in ten yummy-rific flavors. Owner Chris Lukowski says that the chocolate chip and red velvet are the most popular flavors. Adds Lukowski, “All of them are amazing. Nothing Bundt Cake is perfect for a snack for your family or for a wedding or even large scale parties.”

Lukowski and wife Amy were looking for a business they could call their own and the Nothing Bundt Cake franchise opportunity was a perfect fit. A former Hewlett-Packard employee Lukowski admits it was a quite a change from HP software sales to cake czar but “The main thing is Nothing Bundt Cakes has a great business model and a great product.”

Executing the business has been relatively smooth going for the couple which Lukowski credits to an effective business plan and “Great people who have terrific experience and a great work ethic.” The Greater Glendale Chamber was another ingredient that supported the Lukowski’s even before the Grand Opening. “They proactively came to us with opportunities to market our new business and went out of their way to help us.”

There were hundreds of smiles at the recent Chamber Member Appreciation Luncheon when each guest received a special gift from Nothing Bundt Cakes. “It was delicious,” says member Mark Smiley. “They have a new fan in me.”
