Like A Good Neighbor: Meghan Bowen graduated from Kennesaw State University with a BBA and Georgia State University with a MBA. She opened her State Farm office last June and has been offering quality service to her customers ever since.

State Farm is a large group of insurance and financial services companies throughout the United States with corporate headquarters in Bloomington, Illinois. They have 110 products available to consumers with nearly 65,000 employees and 19,000 independent contractor agents.

One of those agents, Meghan Bowen, joined the Chamber in August 2018 after attending a Young Professionals Network event at Mir Park in Glendale. The event was a networking event with the young professionals and their dogs. “It was really a nice party, said Bowen. “There were a lot of good people.”

Bowen who is originally from Atlanta, has been with State Farm since graduating college. She was hired as a junior agent and worked hard and applied herself and opened her own office after State Farm paid for her to relocate. Her office has been open since June 1, 2017, and she has enjoyed a good start as an agent to date.

Bowen’s primary focus is auto and home. “What most people don’t realize is that State Farm is the only company that offers full replacement cost on hail damage,” said Bowen.

Why would someone decide to change companies or agents? “A lot of times, people are in really bad situations with their insurance company,” said Bowen. “Whether they’re not getting back to them or their questions aren’t getting answered. We’ve gotten so much business with people upset with their current insurance company because they’re not getting the value for the premium they pay every month.”

“Meghan is great,” said Amir Ronen, State Farm customer. “After having a bad experience with our previous insurance provider we’ve decided to make a change and talk to Meghan. We are extremely happy with the level of service, professionalism and our rate. I highly recommend her.”

Bowen prides herself on being responsive to her customers. She even drove to Broomfield to check on a claim because that is the level of service she puts forward. “We are super responsive back to customers, said Bowen. “We definitely treat our customers like gold.”

“Meghan goes above and beyond with integrity in everything she does,” said Melissa Durgin, State Farm customer. “So happy to recommend her to a

“We’re here for people and we really want to give people the best value for their insurance dollars and looking forward to giving back to the community as well as helping the community in years to come,” said Bowen.
