Members Treated To Samples Of Award-Winning Beers

The Greater Glendale Chamber of Commerce held its monthly Business After Hours at Comrade Brewing on October 15, 2024. Members flocked to the award-winning brewery to sample brews and enjoy a nacho bar provided by Illegal Pete’s.

Members sampled four beers that are consistently on tap at Comrade. They sampled the Superpower IPA, the flagship India Pale Ale; Yellow Card, a blond ale with an 85 ranking on Beer Advocate; Yellow Fever, a Citra Blonde ale infused with fresh hand-cut Jalapenos and boasting a 92 ranking on Beer Advocate; and Redcon, an Irish Red Ale and 2018 GABF Bronze Medal Winner.

Comrade Brewing is regarded as one of the best breweries in Denver and they have the awards to prove it. They won Small Brewing Company of the Year in 2019 at the Great American Beer Festival and many medals for the beers they have been brewing since the brewery opened in 2014.

In fact, David Lin, owner of Comrade Brewing; and Marks Lanham, head brewer, have been brewing since the early 2000s and the results of that experience are obvious. One of the things that Lin is most proud of is that of their six original beers they still serve up four of them — keeping customers happy for the long term is most gratifying.

Comrade Brewing is located at 7667 E. Iliff Ave. in Denver. For more information, visit www.comradebrewing.com.
