The City of Glendale’s fireworks display is often the first display in the metro area and regarded as one of the best in the state. The Greater Glendale Chamber of Commerce is again partnering with Four Mile Historic Park for the annual Glendale Fireworks Extravaganza set for Tuesday, July 2, 2019, from 5 to 10 p.m. Four Mile Park is one of the best spots to view the fireworks in the entire city.
Chamber members are invited to this family-friendly event including live music and games, food trucks and libations, and, of course, tours of the Four Mile House which is celebrating its 160th Anniversary. “Four Mile Historic Park is delighted to partner with the City of Glendale and the Glendale Chamber of Commerce for our Annual Independence Celebration,” said Jennifer LaGraff, Executive Director of Four Mile Historic Park. “This year’s event promises to thrill guests at every turn with live music, pioneer games, food trucks, and fireworks at sundown, all included with general admission.”
The Chamber’s Board of Directors has worked to make this event a true VIP experience for Chamber members. The first 50 Chamber members to contact the Chamber office will receive a VIP package that includes a reserved parking spot in Glendale, a meal ticket, and tickets for beverages. Look for the six-passenger golf cart — a Chamber volunteer will be transporting members from the parking lot to a special entrance at the park.
Once inside the park, Chamber members will be escorted to a private VIP tent with the help and support of Butler Rents. This tent will feature an area to network, enjoy complimentary cold beverages, and a popcorn bar.
Bring your blanket and stay to watch the Glendale fireworks show which begins at approximately 9:15 p.m. Food trucks and bars (valid ID required) will be on site. Sorry, no pets, outside food or beverage, smoking, cannabis use, fireworks, poppers, sparklers, or other flammables allowed.
New this year, Four Mile Historic Park is partnering with Swallow Hill Music to present That Damn Sasquatch for a live performance, offering face painting for kids and a demonstration from the 1st Colorado Infantry.
For those anxious to visit the park earlier than July 2, consider attending the Rendezvous Gala set for June 8, 2019. Join Four Mile Historic Park for an elegant, Western-inspired evening honoring Karin and Charlie Woolley and the 160th year of the Four Mile House featuring incredible food, custom cocktails, and a plated dinner. Guests will be indulged, inspired and entertained throughout the night all in support of Four Mile Historic Park.
Please contact Sherri Liebhauser at 303-584-4181 to obtain your VIP packet to the Glendale fireworks party.
