Meditation and Stress Reduction Workshop
 
Learn more about the effects of chronic stress on the body and simple tools to take with you to help deal with life’s challenges. 
 
This mindfulness/meditation course aims to provide learners with theoretical and practical skills to understand the effects that chronic stress can have on the physical body, how it can affect relationships and our overall well-being. The course will address cutting edge science on the effects of having a mindfulness and meditation practice. There will be a didactic portion followed by experiential learning in which participants will get the chance to practice a guided meditation, experience the effects, and will be given a simple take-home practice.
This workshop will serve a wide range of participants. Whether new to mindfulness looking for calm and clarity, or a seasoned practitioner looking for more depth, this workshop has something valuable to offer everyone.
