Ribbon-Cutting: Denver Mayor Hancock was in attendance to help cut the ribbon for AFC Urgent Care Denver Speer on April 3, 2019.

Special Guests: Maureen Tarrant, President and Chief Executive Officer of Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Medical Center and Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children (left), Darius Kerman, Owner and CEO of Urgent Care Solutions, AFC Urgent Care, Denver Mayor Michael Hancock, and Shideh Kerman, COO of Urgent Care Solutions were on hand to open the fourth AFC Urgent Care in the Denver Metro area.

AFC Urgent Care opened its newest location at 777 E. Speer Blvd. in Denver, with a ribbon-cutting on April 3, 2019. The event featured elected officials such as Mayor Michael Hancock, Denver City Councilman Wayne New, and Glendale City Councilman Dario Katardzic. The Speer Blvd. location is now the fourth location in the Denver Metro area for AFC Urgent Care. Their first branch is located in Glendale.

Cherry Creek Chamber’s Executive Director Christine Des Enfants served as the master of ceremonies for the event and was flanked by Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce President & CEO Kelly Brough and Glendale Chamber Board members Jeff Allen and Mark Smiley.

Maureen Tarrant, President and Chief Executive Officer of Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Medical Center and Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children was also in attendance and addressed the packed facility. Shideh Kerman, COO of Urgent Care Solutions also welcomed the guests to the facility. “Speer medical center is a cost-effective resource in the community for members that have a minor illness or a more major but non-life-threatening health issue,” said Kerman. “For families who have trouble scheduling appointments due to work and personal commitments, the AFC Urgent Care takes patients on a walk-in basis.”
