What do this two groups have in common?
Rocky Mountain Human Services (RMHS) is a non-profit organization with offices in Denver and throughout Colorado that has been helping people for over 22 years.

Director of Communications and Development, Annie Davies explains that RMHS puts their human services to work helping to improve the “health, self-sufficiency, and overall quality of life” of people who face challenges everyday. These challenges include development delays, cognitive and intellectual impairments, brain injuries, aging, and social issues.
RMHS currently serves over 10,000 men, women, and children across Colorado and Wyoming which includes housing assistance to over 1,000 Colorado veterans. Davies proudly notes that Colorado experienced the “2nd largest decrease in veteran homelessness in the nation in 2013.”
Veteran employment is an important initiative at RMHS as is helping families with the diagnoses and treatment of autism. Current statistics show that 1 in 68 children are diagnosed with autism and this has created a shortage of assessment and therapeutic services.
RMHS is considering the development of a regional center dedicated to children with autism. The official launch of this campaign is June 12th when RMHS will host a summer kickoff cocktail party at the new Union Station.
