Philanthropic: Tracie Konigsbauer has been with Blue Pebble Homes for 18 months and prides herself on good communication and a quick response time. She also enjoys helping local non-profit organizations with their missions.

Tracie Konigsbauer, from Blue Pebble Homes, is the most recent member to join the Greater Glendale Chamber of Commerce. Konigsbauer moved here six years ago from the Philadelphia area after she and her husband visited Colorado and fell in love with the state and all it has to offer.

She was working remotely with her former company and her husband’s company expanded into the Denver area so the timing was right. “When we were back East, I had intended to go into real estate,” said Tracie Konigsbauer, Client Advisor with Blue Pebble Homes. “When we moved, I was pretty comfortable with my job, getting promoted, and doing all of the corporate things. I put it off but it was always something I wanted to do. I thought it suited my strengths well and I thought I would be good at it. I wanted to help people and help them the way I wanted to and not have to ask 100 people in corporate above me and deal with the red tape.”

For the last 18 months, Konigsbauer has been doing it her way and supporting organizations that are important to her. She serves on the Board of Directors for No Kill Colorado, a non-profit organization working to improve the animal shelter system in Colorado.

She is also helping raise funds for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, located in Glendale. Jared Frost, owner of Blue Pebble Homes is up for Man of the Year. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Man & Woman of the Year campaign is a 10-week philanthropic competition for leaders in local communities across the United States.

Candidates and their teammates raise funds for LLS in honor of local blood cancer survivors, the Boy & Girl of the Year. The title “Man or Woman of the Year” is awarded to the candidate whose team raises the most funds during the competition. The top man and woman candidate in the country are awarded with the national title. Contact Tracie Konigsbauer directly to donate to the team.

In addition, Konigsbauer does a lot of work with veterans. “Giving back to the community is super important to me,” said Konigsbauer. “A real passion of mine is to serve the veteran and active-duty community. I work with veterans and it has always been important to me. I wanted to continue to work with them in my entrepreneurial real estate venture.”

With all of the philanthropic work, Konigsbauer commits tireless hours every day to monitoring market trends and being responsive to her clients. Blue Pebble Homes is a small team within Keller Williams Realty Downtown. “We do a lot of our own marketing but we also have the training and marketing Keller Williams provides as well,” said Konigsbauer.

The market is volatile these days with mortgage rates rising each day. “Inventory is historically low,” said Konigsbauer. “It’s about a third of what it normally is. We are seeing things increase as we get into the warmer months. Interest rates are affecting things as well [at time of press, interest r

The bidding wars on home purchases have cooled off a bit in today’s market. “Over the last couple of weeks, I haven’t seen the height of the bidding wars we saw a month or two ago,” said Konigsbauer. “But prices haven’t changed and I don’t think they are going to change or go down. Springtime is when things sell for the highest amount.”

Konigsbauer is not a Denver native but has jumped in with both feet and learned this market well. “I love working in Denver,” said Konigsbauer. “I know a lot about the different neighborhoods and what makes each one unique. I love working in the city and also Englewood which I have been drawn to quite a bit.”

Konigsbauer prides herself on a strong work ethic and communication. “My response time and communication is what separates me from other realtors,” said Konigsbauer. “I think people appreciate my response. I am from the East coast, so I am very direct [laughs] and I tell it how it is and I think they appreciate that.”

Konigsbauer joined the Chamber after things started to open back up after the COVID-19 pandemic. “I wanted some new opportunities to meet people,” said Konigsbauer. “I’ve heard good things about the chamber. I used to be a part of it back East with my previous job. I like supporting the local businesses. I love being able to go to places I might not have known about.”
