New Location: Assistance League Denver is moving from its longtime residence to 6265 East Evans (Evans and Monaco) this spring.

Assistance League Denver’s Thrift Shop is known as one of the best and friendliest thrift shops in the area. And it’s moving this spring from its longtime East Colfax address to a new location, 6265 E. Evans near the intersection of Evans and Monaco. The location is new but you can still discover the same great bargains on a wide variety of merchandise, including estate sale items.

Assistance League Denver is a 100 percent volunteer, nonprofit organization committed to serving children and adults in the greater Denver area through its philanthropic programs. Chartered in 1958, Assistance League Denver was the first chapter of the National Assistance League to be located outside of California. Members are excited and proud to be celebrating 60 years of service.

Last year, members donated over 32,000 hours serving more than 9,000 children and adults. The 285-member group also returned nearly $423,000 in program services to the community.

The Thrift Shop is a major source of funding for the Assistance League Denver’s nine philanthropic programs, generating 80 percent of the organization’s funds. You can find great bargains for yourself while helping others at the same time.

The Thrift Shop is staffed and managed entirely by member volunteers. You can count on the merchandise being good quality, clean a

nd fairly priced. There’s something for everyone at the Thrift Shop. You’ll find clothing for men, women and children along with baby clothes and accessories.

The Thrift Shop also has sporting goods, toys, housewares and linens along with seasonal items and jewelry — all at affordable prices. There are books for every age and you can even shop its selection of antiques and collectibles.

Gently used items for donation, which are tax deductible, are always appreciated.

The new location also provides plenty of free parking. Right next door to the Assistance League Denver Thrift Shop is the nonprofit’s Hospital Equipment Lending Program and The Assistance League Event Center.
