Award-Winning Chicken Wings And 26 Signature Sauces
On January 20, 2021, the Greater Glendale Chamber of Commerce helped the new Buffalo Wild Wings Go open with a ribbon-cutting at their new location at 760 S. Colorado Blvd. in Glendale. Dignitaries in attendance included Glendale City Manager Linda Cassaday, Glendale Deputy City Manager Chuck Line, Chamber COO Jeff Allen, Chamber Board members Mark Smiley, Barb Wyatt, Barret O’Brien, and David Peterson.
This new takeout and delivery-focused model concept is the second one to open in the world and opens at 11 a.m. each day. In an exclusive interview with Buffalo Wild Wings, they stated why they chose Glendale as their second location: “The Denver area is a strong market for Buffalo Wild Wings sports bars so we felt it would be the perfect market to launch our new Buffalo Wild Wings GO model in Colorado. We’re pleased to be able to bring 25 full-time and part-time jobs to the community as well.”
They continued by talking about the new concept: “Buffalo Wild Wings GO is a new takeout and delivery-focused model for the brand, designed to offer the brand’s award-winning chicken wings, plus a few other fan favorites like hand-breaded tenders, chicken sandwiches, sides, and all 26 BWW sauces and dry rubs. All locations, including the GO in Glendale, will feature a walk-up counter, digital menu boards and limited seating.”
This brand-new location is designed to offer the brand’s award-winning chicken wings and 26 signature sauces and seasoning options, plus a few other fan favorites. The new location will also bring 25 full-time and part-time jobs to Glendale. Unique to the Buffalo Wild Wings GO format, guests who order ahead will be able to pick up their meal from heated takeout lockers, providing a contactless, hassle-free experience and
ensuring quality and freshness.
This hassle-free experience coupled with the Covid-19 pandemic is in large part why this concept was started. “Buffalo Wild Wings takeout and delivery business h
as grown significantly over the past year as guests look for quick, hassle-free food options. GO has proven to be a safe and effective way to order and pick-up food, as each location includes heated takeout lockers that provide a contactless experience for our guests and staff.”
As far as the Chamber of Commerce, Buffalo Wild Wings is proud to partner with the Chamber. “Buffalo Wild Wings GO strives to be a good community partner in Glendale. We also presented a grant to Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver as part of Grand Opening Week.”
