On a chilly Wednesday in March – The Glendale Chamber After-Hours crowed descended on a warm and welcoming tanning salon. Led by a path of glowing candles to the door where a beautiful woman in beautiful fur coat greeted us enthusiastically and guided us inside.
The delightfully elegant ambiance of The Beach Club was overwhelmingly serene. You might have expected your standard tanning salon (think neon and 80’s theme), but The Beach Club goes far beyond any expectations. Tasteful and elegant artwork, comfortable couches, mood lighting and everything you need to feel comfortable and relaxed in an unparalleled oasis of calm and beauty in the middle of busy Colorado Boulevard.
Marguerite was a splendid and knowledgeable host, delightful and charming – she cheerfully gave all the Glendale Chamber members a full tour of the salon, complete with explanations about the equipment and the protective benefits of “pre-tanning” before heading out for a sun filled vacation.
Hooters kept the champagne flowing while supplying the standing room only event with a generous variety of wings.
