The Glendale Girls Club, a division of the Greater Glendale Chamber of Commerce, hosted its First Birthday Celebration on May 14, 2018, at Mercedes-Benz of Denver located in the Village of Glendale. Chamber Board Members, Ambassadors, supporters of the Glendale Girls Club, and invited guests all came out to celebrate a great first year in the showroom of the dealership.

The event raised money for local non-profits Extended Hands of Hope and SafeHouse Denver with a silent auction. Many of the auction items were donated by Chamber members. “Extended Hands of Hope and SafeHouse Denver, those two charities make a difference,” said Libby Passiales, a member of The Glendale Girls Club.

Extended Hands of Hope offers safe housing and supportive services to sex trafficking survivors, empowering them to move forward with hope and dignity. SafeHouse Denver serves survivors of domestic violence and their children through both an Emergency Shelter, a non-residential Counseling and Advocacy Center, and an Extended Stay Program.

The Glendale Girls Club empowers professional women to grow in business and in life, greatness through collaboration and connection to others and community. Their next luncheon is scheduled for September 11, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Esters Neighborhood Pub. To register, email Glen daleGirlsClub@gmail.com.
