Mark Reider

Mark Reider has been practicing law since 2012 but moved to Denver from Cortez, Colorado, just over one year ago. His practice, The Law Offices of Mark Reider, focuses on business transactions, estates (wills and trusts), and family law. He has worked extensively with local members of the community in specially tailoring revocable living trusts to fit the needs of the local community and particularly in regard to the intergenerational transfer of farms and family property.

This has saved numerous families from the expense and stress of protracted court hearings and probate expenses. “Revocable living trusts are a good idea for everybody to have,” said Mark Reider. “You avoid probate because it can be a mess. The shortest probate is about six months and that can be a real strain on family relationships.”

Reider has given numerous local legal related seminars on topics such as Trusts and Wills for groups such as Rotary Club, Kiwanis, and Business Network International. Another group that may tap into his knowledge is the Chamber. Reider has had a positive experience from the start. “I have gone to one or two of the events and it has been very positive. This chamber is not overwhelmingly large and not too small either. People are willing to get to know you.”

Reider understands the need to get to know people before doing business with them and he brings that acumen to his law practice. He has the experience, understanding, and compassion to help his clients through their family law needs. He believes in getting these difficult issues resolved as smoothly and quickly as possible. “During life’s difficult moments, we all could use some help,” said Reider. “Take comfort knowing that you will be in capable and caring hands.”

The future is unpredictable. The best one can do is prepare now for what it may hold. The truth is it is never too early to start planning for one’s future. While this applies to everyone, it is particularly crucial for those with loved ones depending on them. Mortality is a tough reality to face, but one doesn’t have to face it alone. Reider knows the importance of easing the transition of property and settling of affairs for family members.

Each individual’s estate may require specific areas of need that may not have been considered. Having an estate planning attorney helps one create a plan to avoid the pitfalls of taxes, court costs, and legal fees goes a long way saving loved ones stress, time, and money. It is necessary to get an attorney with the experience and knowledge to correctly convey one’s desires. “I can explain things to people in an understandable way while getting to the law and the facts,” said Reider.

Reider also provides legal advice for small businesses often acting as in house legal counsel without the expense of having one. He offers legal services to Colorado businesses and startups to increase profits, protect company assets, manage employees, and reduce the risk of expensive litigation.

As an attorney experienced in business transactions, the Law Offices of Mark Reider consults with you on contract law, formation registrations, employee issues, and disputes. When you need the ability to make confident decisions and adapt quickly to ever-changing business rules and regulations, Reider is a solid option. “As a small business, you want to stay out of court,” said Reider. “The way to do that is to make sure your contracts are in order ahead of time. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.”

For mentioning this article, you will receive a free consultation. “I want to acquire clients to work with on a regular basis,” said Reider. “Where they can call me when they need to.”

Reider earned his Juris Doctorate from Southwestern School of Law in Los Angeles, California, and his B.A. from Cal Poly where he graduated Cum Laude and was Phi Kappa Phi. He is admitted to the Colorado Bar as well as the United States District Court of Colorado.
