Rocky Mountain Human Services provides crucial services to help veterans as they transition from a military career to civilian life.
RMHS funds their efforts through community partnerships, donations and its annual Gala.
The 2014 Gala will be held on November 8th at the Hyatt Denver Tech Center. This fabulous evening will be emceed by Mike Nelson of Channel 7 with a keynote address from Clint Romesha.
VIP Reception, dinner, cocktail hour, silent auction, and live auction create the backdrop for the real heroes; the men and women who serve our country.
According to Marketing and Special Events Coordinator Corey Wheeland, RMHS provides services to ensure that “each individual who struggles as a result of service to our country is given every opportunity to connect, contribute, heal.”
Last year the Gala raised nearly $300,000 through ticket sales and sponsorships. This year’s goal is $375,000. Wheeland exclaims, “This will truly be a night to remember.” One of the highlights will be the presentation of RMHS’ two signature awards, The Community Partner Award and the Loyalty Beyond Service Award.
RMHS was established in 1992 and serves over 10,000 clients, 7,500 of them right here in Colorado. By participating in this year’s Gala or making a donation to Rocky Mountain Human Services you help veterans, service members, and their families lead productive, healthy lives.
